Hilltop did a major drainage project at my property that included a new set of stairs and a new garden. After a decade of dithering, we finally decided to take the plunge. We knew we needed what amounted to a landscaping gut job — but where to begin?

We got lucky. With one call to Hilltop. Glenn came out promptly and gently concurred that we really did need to start from scratch, and the clean canvas gave him the freedom he needed to have Hilltop’s amazing crews do our house right.

And boy, did they.

It’s gorgeous, of course (if we do say so ourselves) but more than that, his teams — yes plural, we worked with three crew chiefs for different aspects: landscaping, hardscaping, and irrigation — were utterly professional and skilled. They came early and stayed late. They asked about things as they proceeded, bringing us along on every significant decision and making suggestions as new opportunities revealed themselves in the course of the job.

The pricing was clear and competitive and the value was off the chart.

Hand-built new retaining wall, and installed privacy fence on top. Hand-built new wall from two existing ones plus repaired another and built multiple new stone staircases. Last but not least laid a patio of pavers with new drainage. Impeccable work, way beyond our expectations. Took a little longer then anticipated but the final product was so unbelievably good it didn't matter in the least.

We had roots taken out, new trees put in, and they leveled our side yard and also filled in and leveled an area where a pool used to be. We called Glenn for help and he came over to look at our yard within days. He listened to what we wanted and added his expertise and came up with an unbelievable plan! More than we could dream of. He designed and fixed our steep slope with beautiful landscaping, leveled the whole backyard and strategically placed sitting rocks, and landscaped everything amazingly. He turned our backyard into an oasis. He oversaw everything and came and checked work daily to make sure it was finished to our expectations. Replaced retaining wall with new regraded slope and beautiful new lawn. Originally called to replace the wall with a new stone wall, Glenn additionally offered alternative ideas.
